Dennis Quaid outed as a cheater

Meg Ryan, the star of the upcoming blockbuster “The Women” and well-respected actress claims that her ex-husband Dennis Quaid, an actor in his own right, was not faithful to their marriage. The two seperated in 2000 at the height of media interest in Ryan’s love affair with fellow actor Russel Crowe. The well-loved actress was better known as a harlot in those days, but has since regained a considerable reputation. But in a new interview in the October issue of “In Style” magazine, Ryan claims that wasn’t the real story.

“It was a great story,” she told the mag. “But what wasn’t in the story was the reality of my marriage for nine years. Dennis was not faithful to me for a long time, and that was very painful. I found out more about that once I was divorced.”

Meg Ryan recently made a comeback in the mind of the public, at least it seems so, when she agreed to star in an ensemble cast of actresses in “The Women”. Undoubtedly as the premier approaches Meg Ryan’s mistakes will be cast into the public sphere again and again. A little celebrity reputation management could go a long way in a situation like this, by minimizing the negative press. Then again, maybe it is Dennis Quaid who needs it…
